This policy explains what information SWISH! GM collects when you use our mobile apps and websites at swish-gm.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.1. Information you give us•Account details: your username, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text.
•Optional profile details: first name, last name, date of birth, profile image, and avatar. Your name and date of birth are hidden from other players unless you choose to show them.
•Game content: the leagues you create or join, your teams and transactions, and the chat messages, league messages, friend requests, and bookmarks you create.
•Messages you send us, such as support emails or bug reports.
2. Information collected automatically•Device and notification data: if you allow push notifications, we store a push token for your device and your notification preferences.
•Activity data: when you last used the app, and in-game statistics such as leagues created and seasons played.
•Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data, which include your device type, operating system, and app version. We configure these reports not to include your name or email.
•Server logs: your IP address, request times, and the pages or features requested. These are used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
•Website analytics: aggregated, cookie-free page view and performance measurements on swish-gm.com.
3. PurchasesSWISH! GM Pro subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment, and we never receive your card or bank details.We receive only what we need to provide Pro: which plan you have, whether it is active, when it renews or expires, and which store it came from. RevenueCat, our subscription service, receives the same purchase records from the stores and links them to your SWISH! GM account ID.
4. How we use your information•To create and run your account, sign you in, and keep it secure.
•To run the game: simulate your leagues, show your teams and messages to other players in your leagues, and save your progress.
•To send push notifications and emails you asked for, such as game alerts, email verification, password resets, and account notices.
•To provide and manage Pro subscriptions.
•To fix bugs, monitor performance, and prevent cheating, spam, and abuse.
•To comply with legal obligations.
5. What other players can seeYour username, avatar, profile image, and in-game activity (teams, transactions, standings, and awards) are visible to other players, and public leagues may be viewable by anyone on the web. Chat and league messages are visible to the members of that league or conversation. Your email address is never shown to other players.
6. Service providersWe use the following companies to run SWISH! GM. They process data on our behalf and only for the purposes described here.•Fly.io: hosts our servers and stores uploaded images (Tigris storage).
•Neon: hosts our database.
•Upstash: hosts our cache.
•Vercel: hosts our websites and provides cookie-free web analytics.
•Sentry: crash and error reporting.
•Grafana Cloud: server logs and performance metrics.
•Resend: sends account emails.
•Expo: delivers push notifications and app updates.
•Apple and Google: distribute the app, deliver push notifications, and process in-app purchases.
•RevenueCat: manages in-app subscriptions.
7. Data retentionWe keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we erase your email address, password, name, date of birth, profile image, avatar, device push tokens, friendships, and activity history, and replace your username with an anonymous one. Copies in backups and logs are removed as those backups and logs expire. We may keep limited records where we are required to by law, for example purchase records needed for tax or accounting.Leagues where you are the only manager are deleted along with your account. In leagues shared with other players, your past transactions, league history, and messages remain under the anonymous username so the league stays intact for everyone else.
8. Your choices and rights•Edit your profile details and hide or show your personal information at any time from your profile.
•Turn push notifications on or off in the app or in your device settings.
•Delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, then Delete Account.
•Request a copy of your data, a correction, or help deleting your account by emailing support@swish-gm.com from the address on your account.
•Cancel a Pro subscription through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your SWISH! GM account does not cancel a store subscription.
9. ChildrenSWISH! GM is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
10. SecurityWe use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password for your account.
11. International usersSWISH! GM is operated from the United States, and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries. By using SWISH! GM, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in those countries.
12. Changes to this policyWe may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email.
